This year’s World Breast-feeding Week (WBW) was celebrated from August 1st-August 7th. The theme, “a winning goal for life” emphasizes the need for global collaboration to achieve development goals and highlights the long-term benefits of breastfeeding. This week is set aside to improve the global breast-feeding culture and disseminate knowledge about the positive impact of breastfeeding worldwide.
